Climb Mount Kilimanjaro with a one-day hike. This hike has probably been on your bucketlist for a while now and if you don’t have the time or budget (or both) to climb it, then this is definitely your best option. You’ll get up really high and have the single best view on the mountain, without having to pay the full price. Get a nice taste of the highest mountain in Africa: Mt. Kilimanjaro at 5,985m tall.
Right after Breakfast, you will drive for about 2 hours to Londorosi gate . After signing in, you will drive for another 45 minutes to Morum gate ( 11400ftAsl) where your Hiking and discovery will begin toward Shira Plateau . The scenic is magnificent and this is the best level to see the top of Kilimanjaro. Shira is among of the three instinct volcanic peaks that together makes Mt. Kilimanjaro. At this level you will spend time in the moor land vegetation zone which is among of the five vegetation zones that covers Mount Kilimanjaro.Hiking time, 3-4 hours.
Please wear hiking shoes or just comfortable tennis shows , Sun huts, sun lotions and sun glasses. Also, do not forget your rain gears top and bottom because the weather is very unpredictable. A small day pack will be very helpful for you. Also, pack some snack for you to munch on during the Hike. A bottle of water will be providing.

Mount Meru is an active (but dormant) volcano located North of Arusha in Tanzania.
Mount Meru is the first sight you can see when reaching Arusha town.
The mountain is with its 4,566 m (14,990 feet) Tanzania’s second highest peak after Kilimanjaro and the fifth highest in Africa. The mountain has two peaks: Meru Summmit, the highest point, and Ash Cone, an additional peak inside the crater which was formed after a more recent volcanic activity. On clear days one can see Great Rift Valley and Kitumbeini and Gelai volcanoes in the western part, and in the east its neighbor Mount Kilimanjaro with Kibo and Shira Plateau.
A morning hike on the beautiful slopes of the incredible Mt Meru with an excursion into the crater before returning for a picnic at kitoto view point. This hike can be combined with an afternoon game drive to Arusha National Park before returning home.
